7. AAA also offers shopping discounts. A AAA membership card can get you a lot of discounts, in fact.

This can apply to buying tickets for a show or to go to a theme park, it can apply to hotels, it can apply to museums…

The possibilities are endless.

So do not think you have to rely on AAA solely for automotive assistance. There is a veritable wealth of benefits attached to membership.

3. To go back to auto service, it has to be mentioned that AAA offers total battery service. It has done so for over a decade. That does not refer solely to jumping your battery, but to diagnosing it, testing it, replacing it, and so on.

4. Medications: AAA actually offers a program specifically for saving on prescription medications. For name brand meds, you can save up to fifteen percent; for generic meds, you can save up to thirty five percent — and this goes for pet meds, too!

5. AAA can also help you remember when things need to be done. They offer service reminders for things like tire rotation, oil changes, and other types of car maintenance that it is a little too easy to forget.

AAA has been available for a long time to help stranded motorists. However, vehicle assistance is not the only thing they offer. We are going to take a look at some of the benefits you may not yet know about; it may help you decide that the AAA membership is right for you.

1. Bail bonding: a little known fact, AAA in certain states can actually help you if you get into this kind of trouble with traffic violations.  In addition to covering bail bonds to a set amount (typically five grand), they can offer monetary certificates for fines.

2. Money management: another little known fact, AAA can help you manage your money, through such things as IRAs, credit cards, and even personal loans.

So you got your car cleaned and in a high traffic area, there is one more thing that you should do before you put your car on the market for sale – make sure that a mechanic checks it out.  You will want to replace the oil and all of the fluids as well as clean the radiator and put in new anti-freeze as well as make sure that the brake fluid is clean.  You will also want to change the transmission fluid as well.

The reason for this is because you will be able to promote the fact that the driver will not have to do that much work on it because it is already done for them.  You also want to ensure that the tires and the brakes are in very good condition, as they can definitely impact how much money you get for your car.

Finally, set the price – you want to go by the Kelley Blue Book price, as that is going to show you exactly how much your car is worth so you can price accordingly.

Now that we have talked a little bit about the detailing of your car and making sure that your car looks good on the inside and out is very important but so is where you place the car.  When you are trying to sell a car, you want to make sure that people actually know about it.

What this means is that you need to store the used car in a very, very high traffic area so that way, you can actually have people see the car and check it out.  Whenever people see a used car for sale, most of the time they will stop in order to check it out, even if they did not plan to.

You also want to make sure that you put a phone number that you answer.  People do not like to leave messages, they like a live person, so make sure that you are answering your phone.  More in the next blog!
